As a community-centered, environmentally conscious artist, my practice typically involves repurposing, recycling, and otherwise giving life, as a core principle of my creation.

My sculptures are immersive - either visually or experientially. I strive to bring to being using principles of joinery and balance. My paintings skew surreal, reflecting the absurdity of existence and the world as we experience it as humans. I like to play with orientation and perspective, especially when working in 2D.

I've been a resident of a cooperative household for the past four years, making work heavily inspired by my housemates and my surroundings. Cooperation and community represent a sense of ecological belonging that I orient around in my way of living. Being in touch - allowing myself to touch and be touched as well as creating that opportunity for others is a big driving force in creating my artwork. One can be touched in the physical sense or metaphorically but both hold power and create a lasting impression or change. Change is the only constant and I make work to talk about and share experiences, thoughts, and feelings about our world.
